What We Believe
As a PCA church, we affirm the core beliefs outlined in the Westminster Confession of Faith. We believe the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and life.
These core beliefs are summarized below.
1. About The Bible…
We believe the Bible is God’s love letter to humanity. It’s completely trustworthy, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the final authority for how we live, love, and lead. If you want to know what’s true, start with Scripture—it’s God’s truth from cover to cover.
2. About God…
We believe in one God who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He’s not distant or detached. He’s personal, powerful, and present in every part of our lives.
3. About Humanity…
We believe every person matters to God. You were made in His image, with dignity and purpose. But sin broke that connection. We’ve all messed up, and none of us can fix it on our own. That’s why we need grace.
4. About God’s Grace…
We believe salvation is a gift, not something you earn. God chooses to save us not because we’re good, but because He’s good. It’s all about His mercy, not our performance.
5. About Jesus Christ…
We believe Jesus is the Son of God—fully God, fully man. He lived a perfect life and died a sacrificial death to pay for our sins. If you trust Him, He’ll forgive you, restore you, and give you eternal life.
6. About God’s Covenant…
We believe in the story of God’s unbreakable promise to love, redeem, and restore His people—not just individually, but generation after generation. It’s not about rules—it’s about relationship, where God says, “I will be your God, and you will be My people,” and He keeps that promise no matter what.
7. About The Holy Spirit…
We believe the Holy Spirit lives inside every believer. He gives us power to live like Jesus, wisdom to make good choices, and comfort when life gets hard.
8. The Future
We believe Jesus is coming back—physically, visibly, and victoriously. He’ll make everything right, judge the world, and bring His people home forever.
9. The Christian Life
We believe life is not about us—it’s about God’s glory. Every part of your life—your work, your relationships, your dreams—is meant to reflect Jesus. When He’s Lord of your life, everything changes.
Our Church Covenant
Having been brought by God's grace to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and having been baptized, we do now, in the presence of God and this congregation, solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
We confess our need of the mercy and grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ and affirm our wholehearted trust in Him as our only hope for salvation.
We receive and rest upon Christ alone for our redemption, acknowledging Him as the risen Lord, and we commit to walk in obedience to Him as those transformed by His Spirit.
We resolve, with God’s help, to live as followers of Jesus, forsaking sin, resisting the devil, and pursuing a life that reflects the holiness and love to which we are called.
We commit to support the worship and work of this church, submitting ourselves to its teaching, its leadership as it aligns with God’s Word, and its mission in the world, by prayer, service, and financial support.
We promise to seek the peace and purity of this church, to walk together in brotherly love, to practice mutual encouragement and discipline, and to promote the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen. (2 Cor 13:14)
